Laurel is an active participant in the Austin and Houston startup communities. She has extensive experience with launching startups, and a thorough understanding of new business ventures’ needs and requirements. She had successfully founded and launched several companies, one of which while she was still in law school. She is experienced in counseling and helped clients with forming, organizing, developing, and launching their new businesses in a wide variety of industries, including internet startups, drone manufacturer, film maker, and food innovators. Her practice specializes in contract negotiation, complex agreement drafting, and employment law issues. In addition to her legal practice, she is also a licensed real estate broker and has extensive experience in commercial real estate leasing and purchasing. Her background in law, finance, real estate, marketing, and computer programming is a unique blend of skills that enables her to advise clients with their businesses from both strategic and legal standpoints. Laurel’s most recent practice focus has been on ICO (initial coin offering) consulting and drafting the various agreements associated with ICO such as SAFT (Simple Agreement for Future Tokens) and TPDS (Token Product Disclosure Statements).
